US Government and Fed big bang stimulus is so imperfect in the Timing. The market is trying to cleanup it self by bankrupting the toxic assets and you should let it happened and cleaned before you come and make intervention with a huge cashflow. If not, you're just wasting a huge of money.
You should stay away from generate cashflow to the open market. This first episode in global economic crises is the economic meltdown or junkies asset crunch. The heavy bad assets and the companies who own it should let to be bankrupt as soon as possible. So we should push the bad fragments in our economics to be banished. This period is the market cleanup timing for (heavy) bad assets.
After everything bad have been gone. Then you come in to generate cashflow. Built the economy purely and cleanly by giving good and clean cashflow for producing goods and service so that the people can make productivity again for their wealthy.
The mistake that had been done by US government is : They reacted too fast and too panic. They don't realize that we should give space for the market to cleanup itself by destructuring and bankrupting the (heavy) bad and toxic assets.
And after the market had finished cleanup itself, then the government can react to give cashflow to the "clean" market system. And by giving the cashflow, the government should build a tight financial and banking system so that the system do it in the right rules and in the right position.
So, the US government have missed a very good way to fixed the global economic crises.
Btw, saya sedang ada proyek besar dalam minggu ini. Ada proyek tentang membuat sistem ekonomi kerakyatan yang berskala global dalam konteks koperasi, atau koperasi global lah. Dan harus selesai dalam waktu satu minggu. Jadi selama satu minggu ini mungkin saya sangat sedikit menulis tentang ekonomi.
Semoga Amerika Serikat dapat lebih bersabar dan bijaksana sebelum mengintervensi pasar yg sedang memulihkan dirinya dari racun ekonomi.
